Food Needed/Available


If you have food to give or need food, there are resources in our community.

You can go to St. Vincent de Paul or Amazing Grace Food Pantry.


SOUP KITCHEN: The soup kitchen is offering TAKE-OUT meals to walk-ups from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm daily. The dining room is closed.


FOOD PANTRY: New food pantry hours are Wednesday and Fridays from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM. The food pantry will NOT be open on Mondays or Saturdays. Food will be prepackaged in boxes for shoppers to take home based on family size. At this time, shopping in the pantry building has been suspended. Please bear with us as we do our best to serve the community while offering as safe an environment as possible for staff, volunteers and guests alike.


Grab and Go at Middletown Public Schools:

The Middletown Public Schools will be offering “Grab and Go” breakfast and lunch for our families. This will be available Monday through Friday, beginning March 16th until schools re-open.

Parents and students can visit any of these five sites throughout the city between 9:00AM -1:00PM.

Families will be able to “grab” the day's breakfast and lunch, as well as the next day's breakfast and Lunch, to eliminate the need for multiple pickups. Pick up process will be safe and will adhere to the social distance guidelines when we distribute meals. Families will not be permitted to remain on the premises to eat.

If you have food to give, or the ability to buy food to give (please keep yourself safe if you plan to shop, delivery is an option):


The SOUP KITCHEN needs: Soap, deodorant, shampoo, and body wash. Sliced bread to make sandwiches, lunch meats, canned tuna & cheese. Also, protein and granola bars, individual beverages or juice boxes, bottled water, individual yogurts, cheese sticks, fruit cups and bagged individual serving snacks (like pretzels). Bring donations to 617 Main Street, Middletown from 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday through Saturday, or call for after hours donations.


The Amazing Grace FOOD PANTRY needs: Pasta, pasta sauce, baked beans, peanut butter, canned tuna, boxed cereal and mac-‘n-cheese. If you have other non-perishable canned or boxed foods, they are also welcome! Donations can be accepted on Wednesday and Friday, every week between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM at 16 Stack Street, Middletown.
